Staff

Our workers are of the utmost importance; therefore we pay great attention to those working here. The goal of our human resources policy is to create an environment that would help attract and retain competent workers. We are convinced that suitable people in suitable positions not only fulfil themselves in all respects, but they also create the biggest added value to the company. Various motivation programmes are used in the Company to encourage employee creativeness and initiative.

The priority field in human resources management and motivation is the training of employees and assistance to them in planning their career. It is the duty of Company managers to notice a promising employee and to take care of his/her career.

The Company appreciates the contribution employees make to the general results of the Company as well as employee loyalty.

Transimeksa ensures equal rights in accordance with the law and it acknowledges the right to negotiate with the employer.

Organisation of employee leisure time

The Company arranges annual events for its employees, which have already become traditional.

Establishment of safe workplaces

The Company strictly abides by occupational safety requirements and is modernising the work stations and rest areas. A lot of funds are being allocated to personal safety devices and work apparel. Much attention is devoted to training on occupational safety, accident prevention and control over work in progress.

Environmental protection

The Company pays great attention to the solution of environmental issues. We seek to reduce the negative impact of our Company on the environment; therefore our transport fleet is continually being updated by acquiring new trucks that are compliant with environmental standards. The Company plans that by 2015 its fleet will consist only of  Euro-5 trucks with engines that meet environmental requirements. In order to reduce emitance of CO₂, company is planing to put more efforts in the development of intermodal  tranportation,  particular in railway.

Our Company's office is a place where all the daily waste generated by office activity is carefully sorted out and despatched for recycling. We also organise events during which we clean the environment.

This implies respect for suppliers, clients, employees and the environment. We are committed to accurate, transparent and timely reporting on our activities.
